Patients with diabetes and valid OHIP coverage may qualify for an insured eye exam, subject to eligibility and timing requirements. Our team can confirm your OHIP coverage and any additional fees before your appointment. We also recommend OCT imaging to detect and monitor changes early. OCT is not covered by OHIP, so please be prepared for an additional fee. If we find changes that need treatment, we will refer you to the right specialist promptly.
