Clinic information approved by Dr. Zara Akhter, optometrist. Updated September 28, 2026.

Start with an appointment request

Use our appointment request form or call 905-487-4511. Let our team know whether you need an eye exam, help with contact lenses or guidance choosing eyewear. Ask the team to confirm your appointment time and any preparation specific to your visit.

Bring your current eyewear and useful information

If you have previous prescriptions or eye-care records available, ask whether the clinic would like you to bring them. For contact lens appointments, ask in advance whether you should wear your lenses to the visit.

Check your benefits before you arrive

Insurance benefits vary. Check your plan’s eye-exam and eyewear allowances, when you last used them and whether you need to pay a remaining balance. Our insurance and direct billing page explains what to ask. Having a health card or insurance card does not automatically mean every service is covered.

Tell us about your daily routine

Work, reading, driving and hobbies can all affect what you need from your eyewear. Bring your questions so the optometrist and optical team can explain options suited to your prescription and routine. Explore our glasses page and lens technology page before your visit.
